Your Bible Paddy questions, answered.

Find help with sermon notes, daily Bible reading, audio, study groups and your Church Notes allowance.

What is Church Notes?

Church Notes turns a recorded service, uploaded sermon audio or public YouTube sermon into structured notes you can revisit. You can also turn those notes into a seven-day Bible study.

Can I use a sermon from YouTube?

Yes. Add a link to a public YouTube sermon in the app. Church Notes helps you return to the message through notes, Scripture references and a follow-up study. Duration and usage allowances apply; you can see your current limits in the app.

Is Bible Paddy free?

Bible Paddy is free to download. You can read and study the Bible and try Church Notes with a limited allowance. Optional Silver and Gold subscriptions provide additional Church Notes usage. Check the app for current pricing and allowances.

What else can I do in the app?

Read Scripture, listen to Bible chapters, ask Paddy Bible questions, follow reading plans, highlight verses, create shareable verse cards and study with friends in groups.

Which Bible version does Paddy use for AI study?

AI-assisted Bible study uses the King James Version (KJV). Other available versions, including NLT and The Message, are for Bible reading and display and are not supplied to the AI for processing.

Can I rely on the generated notes?

AI can make mistakes. Use the notes as a study aid, and check important claims, quotations and Scripture references against the original sermon and the Bible. They do not replace pastoral guidance.

What is a Bible companion app?

A Bible companion app helps you read Scripture and build a regular study habit. Bible Paddy brings Bible reading, chapter audio, reading plans, highlights, Paddy Chat and study groups together, alongside Church Notes for revisiting sermons.

How can I take sermon notes without missing the message?

With Church Notes, you can record the sermon in Bible Paddy and send it for notes afterwards. You can also upload an existing audio recording. Ask permission to record where needed, then review the generated key ideas and Bible references against the original message.

How do I turn sermon notes into a Bible study?

Start with a recording, uploaded audio or public YouTube sermon in Church Notes. Review the notes, then use the seven-day study feature to return to the message through Scripture and reflection during the week.

Can I listen to an audio Bible on my phone?

Yes. Bible Paddy includes chapter audio so you can listen to Scripture as part of your day, with lock-screen controls and background playback. Audio availability may vary by Bible version.

How do Bible reading plans help me stay consistent?

A reading plan gives you a clear next step instead of leaving you to decide what to read each day. In Bible Paddy, you can follow a plan, track completed chapters and use reminders to help maintain your habit.

Can I study the Bible with friends or a church group?

Yes. Bible Paddy supports study groups where you can read with friends, share insights, ask questions and encourage one another through group chat.

Can I save Bible verses and share Scripture cards?

Yes. Highlight meaningful verses to find them again, and create verse cards you can share with friends or on social platforms.

Is Bible Paddy available for iPhone and Android?

Yes. Download Bible Paddy from the Apple App Store for iPhone or Google Play for Android. Use the store links on this website to find the official app.

What is the difference between Bible reading and AI Bible study?

Bible reading displays Scripture for you to read. Paddy Chat and other AI-assisted study features generate study aids that can make mistakes. AI Bible assistance uses KJV; NLT and The Message are available for reading and display, and we do not supply their text to the AI.

Where can I check Church Notes subscription limits?

Current recording and YouTube allowances, duration limits and subscription prices are shown in the app. These can change, so check your plan there before submitting a sermon rather than relying on an old screenshot or website price.
